How many times have you gone on a diet in your life?

Have you ever stopped and wondered if this is what life is all about?

 

Well I am here to let you know that it doesn’t have to be this way.

In fact, with some minor adjustments to your habits we can get rid of the fat once and for all without even dieting.

Well, your search ends today.

 

Before we go into it, I want to make sure you understand that I am not trying to sell you a quick fix.

The methods and little tweaks I will show you work 100%, but it is going to take time and effort on your part.

 

The truth is that hard work is the only way you will be able to say goodbye to fat.

Are you ready for this?

 

What I have found with many of my clients is that most start in the wrong place when it comes to losing weight.

They all start with a Google search on the best diet or start a diet that a friend recommended which worked wonders for them.

 

The reason why this isn’t the best place to start is because,

  • Diets aren’t a “one size fits all” type of product.
  • What worked for a friend may not work for you.

You are not the same as your friend in many ways.

  • You have different bodies,
  • You may have different commitments,
  • You have different jobs
  • You have different stress.

My point is that there are so many different variables that you must consider.

Anyone of these differences can alter the results and may even jeopardize the diet.

 

The formula for success that I have found (no matter what type of person you are) is to put rules in place to help you lose weight and keep it off.

I am not talking about rules like ‘not eating carbs.’ Those rules don’t work and are a blog in its own right.

 

These rules are more like steps!

 

But before we go into the steps I want to shed some light on what makes someone succeed over someone that doesn’t.

Have you ever thought about it?

 

The little secret is PREPARATION.

 

When you are prepared the chances of success is 99%.

 

On the other hand if you’re not prepared you’re less likely to succeed.

 

I want you to think about it.

If you are prepared for everything and anything you will never fall of the bandwagon.

The time you are not prepared…

well, that’s when you end up getting hungry and making bad decisions. This will result in healthy eating going out of the window.

 

What should you be prepared for?

 

Absolutely everything.

You should

  • Have all your meals ready to go,
  • Have the time that you’re going to the gym blocked out in your diary,
  • Even have your gym gear ready to go.

 

But we can’t start with just working on preparing your meals. For a lot of us we have nothing in the house too prepare.

So we have to start a couple of steps before this.

 

As the rule states.

 

What you have in the house gets eaten. (What you don’t have in the house doesn’t get eaten).

 

With this rule in mind we can start giving you the 4 steps you need to take when starting a weight loss program.

 

Step 1: Get Rid Of  ‘Junk Foods’.

 

Even if you have a family and you are going to tell me that the junk food are ‘treats’ for the kids…

Your kids don’t need it!

Plus they will thank you for making this adjustment (maybe not now, but when they get older they will)

 

If you really still believe that they absolute need it, you can buy your kids nosh on the way to school or they may have it out of the house, but you must have a ‘no junk food’ policy in your house.

 

Now that we got rid of all the bad food from your home, we need to stock up your house with good food.

 

Step 2: Go Shopping!

 

You should note that if you are not going shopping at least every 3-5 days you’re not shopping correctly.

 

All the foods you should be eating don’t last very long and will go off with in 3-5 days.

Anything that has a shelf life longer then that shouldn’t be in the house, with a few exception.

 

Before you go shopping, you must craft a well-balanced shopping list and stick to it.

You can’t go to the shop and just ‘wing it’.

 

What will happen is you will get tempted to buy items that you don’t need or want leading you to bring ‘junk food’ into your home.

So spend some time crafting the shopping list, and stick to it.

 

Once you have finished shopping its time for the next step.

 

Step 3: Clean Fruits And Vegetables!

 

The very simple reason for this is, uncleaned vegetables don’t get eaten.

And if we wait for you to get hungry to clean your veg, well… that won’t happen.

 

So spend 10-20 min cleaning your fruit and veg and put them in clear containers in the fridge.

 

The containers must be clear because if they are not in sight they will be forgotten about and wont get eaten!

 

Step 4: Prep Your Meals!

 

You can either block out one day a week to prep all your meals for the week or you can prep each day as it comes.

 

I would never recommend waiting until the morning to prep your meals.

The off chance you are running late that whole day will be ruined.

 

If you do chose to prep each day as it comes then I highly recommend you prep your meals the night before.

An easy way to make sure you actually do this is to think that the day isn’t over until the next day is prepared.

 

Start implementing these 4 steps into your day and you will see a major difference with your eating patten, which will result in weight loss in the near future.

 

Remember the actions you do today dictate what you will look and feel like tomorrow.
